To see the scenes, log on to www.bambi2DVD.com. The scenes show Bambi bonding with his father after the loss of his mother.
The film has scored higher with test audiences than all other DVD premieres said senior VP brand marketing and product management Lori MacPherson.
We want to get people to see the movie because it plays so well, MacPherson said.
The release will be supported with a TV, print, and online campaign, and will be one of its biggest for a DVD premiere.
The DVD will be given a shorter, 70 day release window before being put on moratorium. The 70 days is supposed to mark the 70th anniversary of Walt Disney's inception of the original Bambi.
